Lys Flowerday is an illustrator and visual artist and has also worked extensively in traditional animated film in UK and in France. She has acted as visiting lecturer and external assessor at several French Art schools and has been a jury member at international Animation festivals. She has produced illustrations for literary magazines, children’s books, museums and theatres in UK and in France. As a creative practitioner she mainly uses the process of Drawing combined with collage as a catalyst for developing a variety of mixed workshop activities. Lys has worked with Creative Partnerships Norfolk, Creative Partnerships Tendring and is an artist consultant at Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts, University of East Anglia. She is currently working as a creative practitioner on Creativity as Practice (CAP 3), a course for teachers at Bishops Park College, Clacton in partnership with CP Tendring and the Faculty of Education, Cambridge.
