Susanne Jasilek is a visual artist and graphic designer, who also works with digital video and sound. Influenced by foundation training in art therapy, she has filmed, taught and facilitated projects, alone and in collaboration, with different groups including special needs, families, older adults, artists, children, educators and the terminally ill. She has worked as a mentor and had an art gallery in Cambridge for 4 years.
Current work: as an artist (film and photography) on Vital Communities long term research project looking at the effect of regular creative input on individuals, families and the community, in collaboration with dancer Diccon Hogger. Forum Theatre, Creative Partnerships project in Harwich with Philip Knight. Collaborative experimental video project with Neuf - a small group of video artists.
