Tara Sampy's art practice engages with the public in the production and often the presentation of her work. She has collaborated with other artists, and has been commissioned to make participatory works with a wide range of community groups. Working in response to each new context, she uses a variety of media, and is interested in presenting works both formally as and interventions within public spaces. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally. Alongside this Tara has worked on a number of projects with schools and within gallery and museum education departments including Camden Arts Centre, Livesey Museum & Tate Britain, both in response to specific exhibitions and as an extension of her own practice.
