Caroline Wendling is a visual artist. She studied at L’École Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Strasbourg, France. She is interested in places and spaces. She creates mental landscapes through an exploration and manipulation of drawing, print and three-dimensional constructions. She tends to focus on the creative using exploration and play and then finds the technical means to realise her work and this approach also underpins her teaching practice. Since 1991 she has lectured in Higher and Further education. She obtained a PGCE from the University of Greenwich, London in 2007. Her present lecturing post at Cambridge Regional College focuses on preparing students for higher education. She has experience of working with people of all ages, facilitating workshops in museums, in schools and in the community. It is the idea of a new adventure, of learning and being taught, sharing and reflecting, that excites her.
