Partnership is key to the way CCI works. We have developed strong working relationships with a number of significant partners across the East of England – including the University of Cambridge Faculty of Education and Kettle’s Yard gallery in Cambridge.
Building on CCI’s success over the past few years, we are actively developing new relationships with a wide range of partners in different fields – from health to special needs education. A new strand of our work includes developing programmes of creative workshops for socially vulnerable and disadvantaged groups and we are now actively seeking new partners.
Some of our key partners include:

- Norfolk LEA
- Cambridgeshire Care and Education Partnership
- Curiosity and Imagination
What our partners say about us
Cambridge Curiosity and Imagination has been working with Creative Partnerships in Tendring since we set up in 2005. They were instrumental in helping us to develop and train a pool of creative practitioners who help us to deliver the creative programme within Tendring schools. Subsequently, they have developed an inspiring and successful programme of continuing professional development for teachers within our schools which we intend to ripple out to a wider area to share this ‘next practice’ beyond our own borders.

CCI work with some of the most professionally developed Creative Practitioners in the Eastern region to deliver creative programmes and research with commitment and expertise. Using their core strengths of curiosity, imagination, and partnership building, they deliver imaginative, targeted projects, and measure the impact of the programme on all participants.
CCI and their practitioners add real value to Creative Partnerships’ work. Their strengths are across all areas of activity from strategic planning of programmes, to project delivery through to research and evaluation.
CCI facilitate workshops for us to accompany each show in the gallery at Kettle’s Yard. The fact that they have a pool of highly skilled and flexible artists allows them to create just the right angle on every exhibition.

They provide a unique ‘way in’ for people; their workshops here have a very loyal following and always book up very quickly. They seem to be able to create the perfect atmosphere in which families can explore creative play together and for themselves – quite a hard balance as parents and carers often tend to put their own energies into making sure their children ‘do well’ rather than exploring their own creativity.
The low-tech and process led approach CCI favours creates a palpable buzz in the gallery and helps make Kettle’s Yard feel a warm and friendly place for adults with children to come to. Participants have sought out Kettle’s Yard staff at the end of workshops on several occasions to say how much fun they’d had and without a doubt CCI’s contribution to our programme is one of the things I’m proudest of...
