Creative Enquiry Programme
Developing sustainable creative practice in Ipswich Primary Schools
We are seeking applications from ten Ipswich primary schools to work along side us in a unique programme that we have developed with our colleagues at the University of Cambridge Faculty of Education. The focus is on exploring and developing sustainable creative practice in schools, not importing creativity through external creative professionals.
What it involves?
Creative professionals from CCI and the University of Cambridge Faculty of Education will work alongside pairs of educators from each school through:
• A series of twilight sessions in the autumn term
• A school based enquiry supported by a creative practitioner and CCI mentor in the spring term
• A reflection and sharing event in the summer term.
• Accreditation by the University of Cambridge Faculty of Education
Come and meet us
Come to an introductory event in Ipswich on Monday 9th June, 4.30 – 6.30pm at Northgate Arts Centre, Sidegate Lane West, Ipswich, Suffolk IP4 3DF where full details of the programme will be available plus application packs. There will be opportunities to ask questions and talk to past participants on a previous course.
