CCI has developed a unique body of individually-tailored training packages, workshops and seminars for educators and other professionals.

Developing children’s creativity is an essential task for teachers nowadays, but it is a challenge that many teachers feel unprepared for.

I am so pleased that I have done this course.  It has impacted on my practice week by week.  It has focused my thinking and given me ideas.

We like to design our programmes to suit the needs of the educators and settings we are working with. Think of the options on offer below like beads on a necklace and discuss with us how best to string them together to address your interests.

Possible elements:

Workshops
For groups of 8 to 24, these workshops will offer participants the opportunity to explore both the working practices of creative practitioners in CCI and the creative processes experienced during the session.

Study Days
For groups of 8 to 24, the study days will combine a more extended opportunity to explore creative processes together with reflection activities to question their relevance to your own practice and settings.

Collaborative Projects
Do you have a particular issue or question you would like to explore creatively? We can work collaboratively with you to explore and frame a creative enquiry. Crucial elements will include planning, observing, documenting and reflecting together.

Mentoring
Work in partnership with  a CCI creative practitioner to explore your own particular plans and questions related to your creative practice and setting.

Accreditation
We can work with a consortium of educators/settings to run the 30 hour accredited course Creativity as Practice at the University of Cambridge Faculty of Education.

Aspects from our core themes and threads will be explored in the work:
